Common Agricultural Policy – financing

The Association focuses on objectives that address the challenges related to the reform of the EU Common Agricultural Policy. The crucial role in this regard is played by the intensification of common actions for even greater sustainability in Polish agriculture.

The ambitious goals arising out of the European Green Deal and the Common Agricultural Policy require strong financial incentives for farmers to support suitable technologies and measures for the development of sustainable agriculture in Poland, which – retaining the cost-effectiveness of agricultural production – will help, for example, to gradually reduce the consumption of chemical crop protection products and fertilisers, as well as to limit the emission of greenhouse gases and diminish the effects of climate change. In the discussions concerning the future of agriculture, it is also essential to remember about maintaining the competitiveness of Polish farmers on the European and global markets.
