Air and greenhouse gas emissions

Air purification from livestock buildings

The gases and odours generated in farm buildings are harmful to the animals and people living there, so systematic removal is necessary. The simplest method of removal, i.e. ventilation, results in the emission of these harmful substances into the atmosphere, and with larger animal production the volume of emissions can be considerable.

A good solution is to equip livestock buildings with installations to purify the exhaust air. This requires some expense, but is very important from an environmental point of view.

There are many air purification systems for livestock buildings available on the market. In addition, these systems are constantly being developed. Hence, it is worthwhile to take an interest in which system will be best, taking into account the animal production involved.
