The list of active substances prohibited for introduction in plant protection products was set out in the Regulation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of 22 November 2010 (Journal of Laws No. 235, item 1547), but was withdrawn because the mere fact of using any chemical prohibited or not registered in Poland is already a crime.
The fact of using an agent in other countries does not entitle anyone to break Polish law, based on local assessment of its safety and suitability for food production. The conditions for the use of agents on specific crops, against known agrophages, as well as the disappearance of active substances and their metabolites, depend on climatic and soil conditions and may be very different in even not-so-distant countries, which may have a bearing on their legal status and thus the legality of their use.
