Keeping records of the yields obtained is an important part of farm management.

The systematic collection and analysis of information on crop yield and quality, taking into account information linked to field records, treatments carried out and protective measures applied, provides the opportunity to increase the productivity and profitability of crops grown. The basic elements of the harvest documentation should be information on the planned harvest, the use of seed (quantity and value), the value of the obtained harvest in terms of quantity and value, as well as on the quality of the obtained harvest taking into account the quality class of the raw material and losses. Annual analysis of the data collected will allow better crop orientations for future years.
