Good employees are the greatest asset of any company. A healthy, well-rested and hygienically attentive employee is productive, creative and motivated at work, and remains alert and prudent in the face of hazards arising from their activities.

The employer is obliged to ensure decent and, as far as possible, comfortable living conditions for its employees. Workers and their families living on the farm are to be guaranteed clean, safe and appropriately sized accommodation, with access to a place with running water for the preparation of meals and the storage of food products, to a place with hot water and sanitary facilities for washing the whole body, and to a toilet. The employee shall take care of the cleanliness and maintenance of the premises and facilities placed at his/her disposal, and the employer shall supervise the technical condition of the facilities. Premises to be occupied by employees should be equipped with fire protection measures. An adequate number of emergency exits must be provided for the occupants of such premises. Premises for accommodation by workers on the farm must not be adjacent to production or storage buildings.
