The farm of Mr. Janusz Jóźwiak was established in Zębowo near Słupsk. It had 12 ha at that time, with 1.5 ha intended for potato crops. Currently, together with his sons Sławomir and Marcin, he works 280 ha of land, dedicated fully to potatoes grown for chips.
The business relationship between Janusz Jóźwiak and FFP started in 1999.
The farm has a GlobalGap certificate, so the Jóźwiaks feel obligated to implement sustainable farming principles.
They perceive sustainable farming as production of high-quality food that is safe for the consumer and is not harmful to the environment. They also see it as a commitment to choosing such production methods that will improve the condition of the environment and the financial situation of their farm and its employees.
The Jóźwiaks expect the project to help them work out the recommendations and procedures for efficient implementation of the sustainable farming framework. And, by extension, to improve their production – in both the financial and social aspects.
